Folio Submission Guidelines
To submit your work to Folio magazine, you must be an SCSU undergraduate student (part or full-time) during the 2011-2012 academic year. All work is read anonymously and judged by a diverse group of student editors. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, December 18, 2011.
COVER SHEET: Please include a separate document titled Cover Sheet with the following information:

Please submit a separate cover sheet document with each genre (poetry, fiction, etc.) you are submitting.
Please follow the instructions below for specific genre submission guidelines. Save your submissions for one genre in one document, and then name the file Submission [Genre], Last Name, First Name. For example, “FictionCaulfieldHolden.” If you are submitting in multiple genres, create a new document for each submission. Please save all submissions in a “.docx” format. Please note that titles are mandatory for each submitted work. All submissions should be in 12-point font. Only put your name in the title of the document; please do not put it on any of the submitted work.
POETRY:
A student may submit no more than 6 poems for consideration. There must only be 1 poem per page but there is no page limit for the 6 poems.
FICTION:
A student may submit a maximum of 3 stories totaling no more than 25 pages.
MEMOIR:
A student may submit a maximum of 2 works of creative non-fiction totaling no more than 20 pages. Research papers and news journalism will not be considered.
ONE-ACT PLAYS:
A student may submit one work of drama in this category. Only one-act plays will be considered.
